New Transfer Vehicle
A.R.Adams Funeral Directors have recently added a 2017 Ford Transit Custom to our fleet of vehicles.
Beautifully finished in Gun Metal Grey, with colour coded bumpers and alloy wheels, the 2017 Ford Transit Custom matches our existing fleet of Gun Metal Grey Jaguars.
The new vehicle is of a very high specification and comes fitted with air conditioning, satellite navigation, parking sensors and reverse parking cameras.
The rear of the vehicle has been fitted with the latest rise and fall decking from market leader Superior UK. The deck allows space to carry four different types of stretcher so that all scenarios can be met when staff attend to bring a deceased into our care. The deck has been fitted with securing brackets for the Auden Contour Flex Stretchers, which ensure minimal movement when in transit and offer the highest level of security for those in our care.
Upon arrival at our offices, the new vehicle was blessed by local priest Father Paul Fox from our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church, Rayleigh.
Transfer Vehicle
When a person is transferred into our care they reside in our Chapels of Rest which are located at both our Rayleigh and Thorpe Bay offices. We do not use off-site hubs or storage facilities.
