Latest technology at A.R.Adams funeral directors means more personalisation on engraved plates.
We’ve been making use of our new engraving machine and have recently donated plates to Tilly’s Angels, a group of volunteers that help search the local area when dogs have been reported missing.
Pet Memorials
These plates were created for two Westies, Dolly & Poppy who unfortunately passed away recently and a Puggle, Luna who was sadly hit by a car.
The new engraving machine is operated by 5th generation family member, Ethen Adams who has recently completed a two year long college course in business IT and an apprenticeship with A.R.Adams. The plates are designed on computer and set to engrave at our workshops in Thundersley.
The newest technology means that both coffin plates and memorial plaques can be engraved in any font with any design including bespoke images, allowing us to truly personalise our engraving services.
Engraving Machine
Ethen sets the plates up using a stylus and iPhone. The files are sent to the engraving computer and are set to engrave. More intricate plates can take 2-3 hours to cut.
The option to include a favourite football team’s logo or armed forces emblem onto a person’s coffin plate is a way of individualising a memorial or coffin.
Please ask us if you would like any special wording or pictures on your plaques or plates. Ethen has become a master of the machine and will happily accept any challenge.
